Echo translates a YouTube video from its captions, including the ones YouTube makes automatically. If a video has no captions at all, Echo can’t translate it yet; try another video to check that Echo works. Live streams don’t need captions.Captions in the wrong languageLANGUAGE
Open the Echo popup and choose your language under Captions in, on its home screen. The card on the first translated line offers a quick switch too.Captions stoppedLIMIT

Since version 2.4.7, live translation understands more than 60 spoken languages. If a stream still comes out as nonsense, Echo hasn’t updated yet on this computer: Chrome updates extensions by itself within a few hours.Subtitles too big or in the waySTYLE
